Squirrel Proof Suet Bird Feeder is a squirrel, grackle and starling proof 2 suet cake feeder. The Squirrel Proof Suet Bird Feeder is made with cage wire and comes with a hanging chain. Its outside cage has 1.5" openings which is large enough to let only songbirds through. The protective roof keeps the suet out of the weather. The bottom has a removal plate that can be left in, if and when Grackles and Starlings are present. When the plate out, then large Woodpeckers like Flickers, Sapsuckers, Red Headed, Red Bellied, and even Pileated Woodpeckers can hang from the bottom and feed. Is very easy to fill feeder with two suet cakes. Can hang from a tree limb or pole and have no worries about squirrels.
