This new design is very useful if the Purple Martin Pole System's base is damaged, mounted in cement, and would like an extra base to move to another location. The ground socket is a very strong 2 inch square base that anchors the very tall 16.5 ft pole. The base is a 2" x 30" long ground socket for secure installation.
