Purple Martin Aluminum Houses with Pole is a 18 room apartments for Purple Martins on a telescoping 15' tall Round Pole. Provide a comfortable home for purple martins to colonize with this Aluminum 18 Room Deluxe Martin House. This top-quality, easy to clean house is constructed of rust free aluminum to dissipate heat, and its crisp white and soothing green exterior complements any lawn or garden. Each of the eighteen trapezoid shaped apartments measures 9" wide at the front, 3" wide at the back, 6" deep, and 6" tall to give individual martin families plenty of room. All the porches of the three story house feature drainage holes in front of the 2.25" diameter entrances and sturdy plastic perch rails for maximum comfort. The cupola conceals the ventilation hole, which helps regulate interior temperature.

At the end of the season, once your martins migrate from the colony, use the included plastic door stops to seal the house and prevent aggressive squatter birds from taking over your colony. The house's levels are held in position with the set screw on the flange rather than being connected together, allowing you to easily clean out individual apartments on any level by snapping out the floor panels. Mount this house high atop the included steel, telescoping 15' tall pole with a 1.25" top outer diameter which extends up through house, no mounting plate required. Support your Martin house easily on this deluxe 15 foot White Telescoping Martin House Pole. The four robust, steel sections create a lasting pole, while the telescoping design aids in raising and lowering the unit. The sections each flare slightly outward at the top, accommodating the included key locks, which keep the pole securely upright for proper placement of your martin house. The 14.75" long, plastic ground socket is designed to be set in concrete in your soil, anchoring the pole during use and allowing it to be removed at the end of each season. Two included, plastic brackets may be secured around the pole, each holding a 20" long, 0.375" dia. metal rod for extra perching or hanging gourds (not included) below the nesting box. The white, powder coated finish on each section keeps them bright and meshes with many traditional martin houses, and also protects the steel pole pieces from the elements.
