The Post Squirrel Baffle can be opened and snapped in place around the pole. The 18" diameter wrap around cone squirrel baffle includes a clamp to mount on the post. This Cone Squirrel Baffle is made to fit a standard 4x4 post (3 5/8" x 3 5/8"). So the post must actually measure 3 5/8" square. For effective blocking mount 4-5 ft off of the ground.
