The pole has a curved hanger arms and a 20" diameter base. This is approximately a 48 inches tall bird pole. The pole has three main sections with thumb screw connector sections. Better than I expected

I had a bird feeder with dome cover and needed a stand I could move if I had to. I now live in a place that a bird feeder can not be hung from balcony or patio ceiling. I was worried the stand would not be sturdy enough or that the dome covering a 16oz feeder would be to big to hang from this feeder but it is working great. My husband got a small patio flagstone to brace it on the base of the feeder but that would be needed only in our summer monsoon wind storms as it seems very sturdy all on its own. Glad to have my bird feeder back and hung.
