Deck Bird Feeder Pole Offset Screw Mount is an offset fixed bracket arm that screws directly into a vertical section. A 1.5" bend near the base angles the hanger slightly outward. This offset offers extra clearance away from a deck rail or wall uneven surface. This allows the pole to be mounted any place with a 2.5" square flat surface. This Deck pole is 36" tall overall and has a 13" curved reach that hangs bird feeders away from the railing. From the poles hanger arm point to the top of the railing is approximately 24".

The 36 inch tall Forged Curved Bracket is made from strong 1/2" square steel. Its rectangular 2.5" tall and 2" wide steel plate with screw holes mount can be put on a vertical surface like a post, baluster, or wall with its included, matching hardware. It also has a 1.5" inch offset from its main shaft to aide in mounting around railings. The deck pole can easily handle 10 lbs. A suggestion for a symmetrical appearance on your deck is to order two poles and put bird feeders with different seed on them. A good example of additional feeders is Hummingbird feeders and Goldfinch thistle feeders. This forged Deck Shepherd Staff pole makes a very nice deck, post or wall display. It will hold your Bird Feeder, hanging plant, lantern or wind chime in style.

Perfect!

The handrail on our deck is too tall for customary birdfeeder pole clamps, where even the widest ones only open 5.5 inches. But we had a wider clamp left over from another apparatus, and THIS vertical feeder pole amazingly fits right into it perfectly! (We live in a new home on open space in a valley area where high winds wreak havoc on our bird feeders, so finding the best solution has not been easy!)
