Mount on the bird pole 4 to 4.5 ft off of the ground for effective blocking. Squirrel Baffle must be able to slip over and down the pole to mount. This slant top cylinder is steel with a power coated black semi gloss finish. The baffle includes a black metal coupler to mount on poles 1/2 in. to 1 3/8 in. diameter. Locate your pole a minimum of 8-10 ft away from objects a squirrel can jump from and let this capable squirrel baffle do the rest!
